Wow! First I want to say, thanks for being here! The desire to start writing about our travels has been in the back of my mind for a good while now. Both, out of the desire to document where we’ve been and what we’ve experienced for our own benefit and also as a way to share our trips and knowledge for the benefit of others. I know when I’m researching a trip I take to the internet and social media to help me figure out how to navigate the area, what the must-sees and dos are, and where the best places to eat are. My hope is that this blog helps you plan your next trip, or that you take away something fun or interesting from our trips.

Now, for introductions… I’m Kelly, wife and mom of (currently) 2 teenagers and 2 crazy aussiedoodles. We live in Middle Tennessee and this is where we’ve spent the majority of our lives, aside from a brief, just shy of 2-year, stint in North Eastern New Jersey. We are currently in a busy season of life and I do my best to enjoy every second of it. Both of our kids play tennis, sing, and love theater. We spend the majority of our time after school running around town getting everyone where they need to be. It can be hectic, but it’s only a season and I know I’ll miss it when it’s over. While the kids are at school, you can usually find me on the tennis court (hopefully winning, haha!) or at my computer planning vacations for myself and others. Since it’s a bit too late in my life to make a career out of tennis (lol!), I figure the next best thing is to take my love of travel and make a career out of that instead!

I am an expert in all things family travel. We’ve been traveling as a family since our kids were in diapers. Our first trips were to the Gulf Coast and Gatlinburg, TN. We were young when we had our children and had zero clue how to manage a vacation with small kids. But, we learned through a lot of trial and error. As our kids have grown, our trips have changed and evolved and I have found that so exciting! Our family trips now include: Anything Disney, Universal, All-Inclusive Resorts, Cruising, Sight-Seeing/Road Trips, and long weekends spent exploring new cities (i.e. Chicago, Boston, Washington, D.C., NYC…).
